INFORMATION ON PRIVACY LAW

1. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Party responsible for processing

"Normal" personal data of clients, potential clients and suppliers collected by any means foreseen within the law are processed by Ferplast SpA, company set up in accordance with the provisions of Italian law – at their premises in Via I° Maggio, 5 Z.I., 36070 Castelgomberto (Vicenza), Italy – under Leg. Decree no.196 dated 30.06.2003 (Law on the matter of personal data protection).

Sensitive information is not processed in any way.

Methods and purposes of processing

Personal data can be processed in paper form, by computer or using data processing systems within the scope of business communications and for statistical-type processing.

Ferplast SpA takes measures to protect data consistent with the importance and confidential nature of said data.

Access rights to data

The owner of the personal data at any time can assert the rights foreseen under art. 7 of Leg. Decree no. 196/2003 – which include, by way of an example, access, modification, additions and deletion – by sending an e-mail message to the following address: info@ferplast.com, or a fax to the number 0039 0445 429115.

 

2. INFORMATION FOR CLIENTS AND SUPPLIERS

Protection of personal data – Legislative Decree 196/2003

Personal and tax-related data acquired directly and/or via third parties by FERPLAST S.p.A., with premises in Castelgomberto, in Via 1° Maggio no. 5, responsible for the processing, are processed in paper form, by computer and using data processing systems for contractual and legal reasons, as well as to enable effective management of business relationships, including future ones.

The company may use any e-mail addresses provided to send promotional material regarding services similar to those involved in the existing business relationship.

Failure to communicate data, where not compulsory, will be evaluated each time by the company in charge of the processing and, depending on the importance of the data requested, will affect consequent decisions as regards the handling of the business relationship.

Data may only be communicated, both in Italy and abroad, for the purposes indicated above and, consequently, may only be processed for these reasons by other parties:

  • Our network of agents
  • Factoring companies
  • Credit institutions
  • Debt recovery companies
  • Debt insurance companies
  • Credit reference companies
  • Professionals and consultants
  • Allied/subsidiary companies
  • Companies operating in the transportation sector.

Data will be kept for the entire duration of the contractual relationship underway and subsequently for the fulfilment of the requirements of the law.

During data processing, employees or consultants of Ferplast Spa, appointed in writing, may gain knowledge of the data.

The party involved may assert all rights under art. 7 of leg. Decree no. 196/2003 (including access, correction, updating, objection to processing and deletion rights).

 

3. INFORMATION FOR WEBSITE VISITORS

Access to the pages of the website www.ferplast.com implies acceptance by the user of the following conditions.

Documentation, images, trademarks and everything else published and appearing on this site are the property of, or have been granted by third parties for use by, Ferplast S.p.A. and their reproduction for the public is prohibited. No responsibility will be taken with regard to the content of this site, any use of it by third parties, or any viruses resulting from access, interconnection, or downloading of materials and computer programs from this site. Thus Ferplast S.p.A., owner of this site, is for no reason obliged to answer for damages, loss or harm of any kind, which may be sustained by third parties resulting from contact with this site, following the use of anything published on it, or from the software used.

Methods for collection and processing of personal data

Any information communicated to the site by third parties of their own accord may be used by Ferplast S.p.A. within the scope of their activity. No personal data will be requested to visitors for access to the site. Any requests for information or data made by visitors to the site via e-mail may involve the data of said third party visitors being processed. Communication of the abovementioned personal data is optional and in any case is at the discretion of the person concerned.

Use of cookies

On the www.ferplast.com site no permanent cookies of any kind are used, IP addresses are not traced, and no other similar systems are used for long-term tracing of users.

Any use of session cookies (which no longer work once the browser session has been closed) is strictly for optimising site consultation.

Some sites accessible via links may contain tracing systems, which are completely unrelated to Ferplast Spa.

 

4. INFORMATION FOR RECIPIENTS OF E-MAIL MESSAGES

Confidentiality and safety of the e-mail message

The contents of e-mail messages sent by FERPLAT SpA are confidential and are addressed exclusively to the specified recipient/s. Reading, copying, divulging or using them by anyone barring the recipient/s is therefore forbidden. If you are not the recipient, we request that you delete the message and any attachments, immediately informing us of this in writing by e-mail. Even though FERPLAST SpA undertakes to act appropriately to ensure the absence of viruses in any attachments to this e-mail communication, these measures do not represent an absolute guarantee and you are therefore requested to implement your own antivirus checks before opening any attachment. FERPLAST Spa therefore takes no responsibility for any damage, which may be sustained because of viruses contained in the messages.

E-mail addresses

Under art. 130, paragraph 4 of the Privacy Law, Leg. Decree no. 196/2003, FERPLAST SpA (responsible for processing) for sending business communications or promotional material may use e-mail details provided to us by senders within the context of previous business relationships.

The sender has the right to object to this processing at any time, as well as to assert his rights to access, correction, updating and deletion of data, by sending an e-mail message to the following address: info@ferplast.com, or a fax to the no. 0039 0445 429115.
